A Memorial Mass will be celebrated for former Stamford business owner Lucy DeRosa on Saturday, Jan. 29, at 9:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Parish, 37 Schuyler Ave., Stamford. DeRosa died at her Florida home Dec. 24 at the age of 86.
DeRosa was a former co-owner of DeRosa Cleaners in Stamford, where she also worked as a seamstress. She delighted in spending time with family members as well as going bowling and golfing.
DeRosa was predeceased by first husband George Morgan; second husband Ralph DeRosa; and six siblings, a daughter and a stepdaughter.
She is survived by her sister, Margaret Buzzeo; and five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
