The Westport Police Athletic League will be featured this weekend on CNN in a segment on concussions in youth sports. “Footballer: ‘Are you OK with destroying a kid's brain for this game?’ ” includes an interview with PAL director Carm Roda and footage from a Fairfield County Football League game in the fall. Westport PAL has been one of the country's leading advocates for concussion awareness and teaching proper techniques and skills to avoid concussions. The CNN segment is scheduled to air Saturday and Sunday.
