It may not feel like it, but spring really is around the corner. And for plenty of families, spring brings a first communion. But where to outfit your little angel?
Boutiques around our towns are hosting communion attire trunk shows to help you find the perfect suit or dress for your little one’s big day. The first to unpack designer trunks is the Lollipop Guild in Westport. Friday, Jan. 14 through Sunday, Jan. 30, the Lollipop Guild will feature labels Us Angels and Sweetie Pie. Then, from Friday, Jan. 28 through Sunday, Jan. 30, they’ll add designs by Joan Calabrese for Mon Cheri. They recommend scheduling an appointment.
Can’t make those dates work for you? Kaliedescope Children’s Apparel in Stamford is another local shop with a host of communion outfits to choose from. They’re located at 67 High Ridge Road, in Stamford.
Jennifer Butler’s Made to Measure atelier in Fairfield is the place to go if you’re looking for a one-of-a-kind, handmade communion dress. Shop her racks for ideas, or come in with your own. She’ll create it from start to finish for you. Find her at 1326 Post Road, in Fairfield.
