There wasn’t an umbrella in sight as pedestrians made their way along Atlantic Street Thursday afternoon, seemingly oblivious to the impending precipitation.
It’s certain to come, though. The National Weather Service predicts a 100 percent chance of rain – or perhaps even snow -- this evening, and heavy rain Friday. The high temperature Friday will be 51 degrees, and it will be breezy, with wind gusts possibly getting as high as 49 mph. Patchy fog also will dot the Stamford landscape.
The rain should clear by Saturday.
