Westport natives and New York Times photographers Tyler Hicks and Lynsey Addario, who were captured by forces loyal to Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi last week, have been freed, CNN reports.

Hicks and Addario, both Staples High School graduates, and Times' reporters Anthony Shadid and Stephen Farrell, were reported missing last Wednesday while covering the conflict in the city of Ajdabiya. They have been released to the Turkish Embassy in Tripoli.
