Three times won't be the charm for the UConn women's basketball team. The two-time defending national champions were upset Sunday night by Notre Dame, 72-63, in a semifinal game played in Indianapolis.
Notre Dame will now have the home-court advantage as it plays for the title against Texas A&M, which beat Stanford, 63-62, in the other semifinal game.
Connecticut and Stanford had been to the Final Four the last four seasons and were favored to meet for the title Tuesday night in a rematch of last year's title game.

The University of Connecticut men's basketball team has reached the Final Four for the first time since 2009. UConn won its ninth straight game by defeating the University of Arizona, 65-63, to win the West Region in the NCAA men's basketball tournament.
Kemba Walker continued his torrid pace, leading the Huskies with 20 points. Walker hit a jumper with 1:17 remaining to put the Huskies ahead for good. Jeremy Lamb came off the bench to add 19 points.
