Do you find dogs and cats entertaining? If so, you’re in luck. Tickets are now on sale for Outreach to Pets in Need’s second annual Pet Tail Video Awards at UConn Stamford.
Along with the Jasper award, the Stamford organization’s second annual fundraiser will also have a silent auction as well a chance to get up close and personal with some of the pets looking for a home. Last year, over 200 people attended. Guests this year will include Mayor Michael Pavia.
“We want to have an event that is fun, entertaining and helps raise money for a worthy cause,” Heather Scutti, the event’s chairwoman, said in a press release. “One hundred percent of the funds raised goes directly to pets in need in our community, including adoptable pets in our foster program, and to reduce the burden on the city’s budget.”
The event begins Friday, April 15, at 6:30 p.m. Each ticket is $60 and is a tax-deductible donation. Tickets are available on Outreach to Pets’ website. For more information, contact Scutti at .
