Do you want to attend Festival del Vino on March 18 but don’t want to miss any of the NCAA's March Madness basketball games? You don’t have to. There’ll be a “Man Cave” on site at the Italian Center, and the game will be aired on a giant flat screen TV. Afterward, the TV will be auctioned off, along with a slew of other great prizes, says Lynne Menon, chair of the event.

The fine wine and craft beer tasting event, which will take place 6:30 to 9:30 p.m., is hosted by the Stillmeadow School Parent Faculty Organization. Proceeds will support programs and projects for Stillmeadow students.

Dinner will be available. Other live auction items include a pair of opening-day game Yankees tickets, a Cape Cod vacation and a diamond necklace from Nagi Jewelers. The PTO presents its fundraiser every other year. The last one, in 2009, raised $13,000.

Sponsoring this year’s event are Subaru of Stamford, Duggan Insurance, Circle One Marketing, Ocean North Pools, Egdar Carpentry and Wells Fargo Bank. “We are grateful to the many local businesses who are donating fantastic auction items and prizes to make this a successful event,” said Menon.
